Greater Manchester had snow this week. It lasted a day, and it brought the usual mix of delight and disruption.
At M60 Office Park in Swinton, Kay Solomon went out with a camera.
Business carried on. The car parks were clear by the time the first staff arrived, thanks to our maintenance team. THE HIVE was open for hot food and coffee. The offices were warm. And being two minutes from Junction 16 of the M60 meant the people who did make the drive got in without much trouble.
That is worth more than it sounds. A business park is easy to like in June. What matters is whether the car park is gritted in February, whether someone clears it before eight, and whether there is somewhere warm to get a coffee when you arrive.
