A news article caught our eye stating that Manchester is:
Still at the foothills of its economic growth.
To overtake Birmingham as the Second City in the UK and emulate London, Manchester, according to a report from The Resolution Foundation, it needs:
It also cautions that whilst the sight of city centre skyscrapers is positive, other satellite towns like Ashton, Bury, Bolton, Altrincham, Salford, Oldham and Rochdale, and others, must not be left out of this growth spurt.
The city centre, it’s true, is compact. You can actually cover, say, Ancoats to Castlefield by foot in under 30 minutes (London or Birmingham sprawl in comparison).
Those skyline cranes against the pudding skies often indicate residential developments or co-working spaces, with some commercial spaces springing up, but often with difficult issues around transport and parking.
Homes here are in huge demand - both rentals and sales in the city centre are, we know, still brisk and with huge inward migration to Manchester showing little signs of abating, there will inevitably be a push to commuter towns and other suburbs for new homes.
Ancoats, Miles Platting and Collyhurst, north of the centre, are prime examples, where there is more space to build townhouses and semi-detached homes with gardens and not 30 storey apartment blocks that typify the city centre and Salford Quays.
The Metrolink has recently become a part of the Bee Network and this wonderful tram system is stretching its tentacles towards Stockport, according to reports, with a bus network that is capped in travel costs by Andy Burnham, our mayor, and even a free city centre shuttle bus.
But if car is your only choice to get to Manchester, there is usually gridlock and high parking costs in and around the city centre.
Perhaps your business needs would be better served by looking at M60 Office Park.
We have impressive landscaped grounds, free parking with an Amenity Hub at its core, EV charging and Grade A offices to lease, with lift access, communal kitchen areas, scorchingly fast broadband and easy access from Junction 16 of the M60 motorway, a railway link at Swinton and a just a 4 mile hop to the city centre.

Five satellite towns, for example, are within striking distance too:
Ashton to M60 Office Park is 14 miles, or just 23 minutes by car
Bolton to M60 Office Park is 6 miles, 15 minutes by car
Bury to M60 Office Park is 7 miles, 22 minutes by car
Oldham to M60 Office Park is 13 miles, 23 minutes by car
Rochdale to M60 Office Park is 11 miles, 19 minutes by car
You get the idea?
Responding to the report, Manchester council leader Bev Craig said: "We have a plan. We have a mission. We have a track record to deliver it. But ultimately, we still need more levers, more resources and more political will from national government to get us to where we want to be.”
M60 Office Park offers an optimal lever for Greater Manchester’s growth.
